   This warning is for caravans at Marnham Meadows Holiday Park only. Due to a blockage in the Old Trent watercourse near Marnham Meadows Holiday Park, off Hollowgate Road in High Marnham, properties and access in this specific area are at risk.    We believe there is a possibility of flooding for Putney Embankment (SW15), Chiswick Mall and Strand on the Green (W4), Thames Bank at Mortlake (SW14), Ranelagh Drive (TW1), Friars Lane and Water Lane (TW9), Riverside and The Embankment at Twickenham, and the Towpath below Teddington Lock. Flooding of properties is not expected.
   
   Astronomical tide levels are rising. The river flow at Teddington Weir is 150 cubic metres per second and is falling. We anticipate the flows to fall slowly for the next few days.

We continue to closely monitor the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.     Groundwater levels in the Meon Valley are high but slowly falling.
    
    At the borehole at Pound Lane, Meonstoke, the level has fallen by 83cm in the last week. Water is expected to be flowing across Rectory Lane, affecting the electricity sub-station, and behind the Buck's Head pub in Meonstoke. Mostly dry weather is forecast from Tuesday 03/03/2026 to Saturday 07/03/2026. Groundwater levels are expected to continue slowly falling across the next week. If dry weather continues to be forecast, this Flood Alert will be removed next week.

    The River Yeo level at Huish Episcopi is currently 8.14m and stable. The drain level at Huish Episcopi, on the other side of the floodbank, is 8.00m and stable.
    Flooding affects the Langport to Muchelney road when this drain level exceeds 7.30m, the Muchelney to Long Load road above 7.86m, the Muchelney to Thorney road above 7.93m and the Muchelney to Drayton road above 8.80m. Property flooding isn't expected below 8.35m. For the latest river and drain levels refer to https://check-for-flooding.service.gov.uk/river-and-sea-levels.
    We are utilising the Parrett Relief Channel downstream of this alert area and pumping at Long Load, Huish Episcopi and Westover pumping stations, operating as river and water levels on the moors allow.
    Tuesday is forecast to be largely dry and the weather is expected to be more settled until the weekend.
    We have officers in the area today reviewing the situation.

Flooding is expected to be affecting cellars in a small number of properties along Winchester Road, central Kings Somborne and in Little Somborne. Mostly dry weather is forecast from Tuesday 03/03/2026 to Saturday 07/03/2026. Groundwater levels in the villages will continue to slowly fall.

    Groundwater levels in the Bourne Valley are high.
    
    At the borehole in Vernham Dean, the level peaked on Wednesday 25/02/2026, and has since fallen by 29cm. In Upton, levels are high but steady. Flooding is expected to be affecting a small number of cellars in Upton. Septic tanks will also be struggling to operate properly. Currently, we do not expect impacts to property at Vernham Dean, Hurstbourne Tarrant, Stoke or St Mary Bourne to be occurring. From Tuesday 03/03/2026 to Saturday 07/03/2026, mostly dry weather is expected. Groundwater levels will continue to slowly fall over the next week.

    Floodwater is reducing but a considerable amount of water remains on the Somerset Levels and Moors. The low-lying roads and land adjacent to the River Yeo are still affected.
    We are utilising the Parrett Relief Channel downstream of this alert area and operating as many pumps as possible as river and water levels on the moors allow.
    Tuesday is forecast to be largely dry and the weather is expected to be more settled until the weekend.

    Floodwater is reducing but a considerable amount of water remains on the Somerset Levels and Moors. Flooding is still affecting the low-lying moors near the Rivers Yeo, Parrett, Sowy and Kings Sedgemoor Drain.
    We are maximising use of the River Sowy (Parrett Relief Channel) to drain the upstream moors, as river levels and water levels allow.
    Pumping stations are operating around Langport and temporary pumps over-pump at Dunball sluices during high tide, when water cannot gravitate into the River Parrett.
    Tuesday is forecast to be largely dry and the weather is expected to be more settled until the weekend.

    This is a Flood Alert update. River levels remain high at the Salisbury Bourne river gauge following the recent rainfall and high groundwater levels. Flooding is still possible. Areas most at risk include tributaries between Aughton and Laverstock, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected. The forecast is for some dry weather over the next few days. We will continue to monitor the situation. Please avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, cycle or drive through flood water. Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car. Check local authority websites for road closures.
