Shaded shapes are the official warning areas (simplified outlines); a ring on its own marks an area whose outline is not banked yet. Rain circles show gauge measurements for your selected time window, not weather radar; the rain radar switch adds the Met Office radar picture for the last three hours, and the forecast rain switch the next 24 hours from the ICON weather model via Open-Meteo, drawn as 15 km squares (the forecast is desktop only).

Gauge colour is the level: green within its typical range, amber around its typical high, red at or above it. A pulsing gauge is rising. Grey gauges have no recent reading. Brown points are overflows reported discharging.
