Due to recent rainfall, river levels remain high. This morning will be cloudy with showers, these wintry on higher ground. The afternoon will continue cloudy with patchy rain. Showers will ease this evening leaving a largely dry night with clear spells and variable cloud. We expect levels to remain high in the area throughout the day but no further impacts are expected. Flooding is possible on 13 March 2026 . Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near the river Eden and its tributaries from its confluence with the River Irthing through Crosby-on-Eden and Carlisle to the Solw
