Originally named by the Danish Meteorological Institute, Otto reached UK/Ireland warning thresholds, bringing yellow-warning winds gusting around 80mph to the Scottish Borders and north-east England; it was the only impactful UK/Ireland storm of an exceptionally quiet season.
