    Flooding may affect locations at Porlock Bay on Thursday 04 June, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the coastline between Gore Point and Hurlstone Point including Porlock Weir. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Hinkley Point. The first forecast high water of 4.69 mAODN is at 21:00, with Westerly Force 7 winds.

    The high tide at Falmouth on Monday is at 19:13, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 2.51mAOD. Expect tide levels along the coast to be between 0.2 and 0.3 metres above tide table level. Strong Force 5 Southerly winds and offshore wave heights of over 1.3m are forecast over the high tide.

Flooding is possible. Be prepared. Keep an eye on local river levels and forecasts, and get ready to move valuables and put flood protection in place.

Flood warning

Flooding is expected. Immediate action required. Move family, pets and valuables to safety, turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to, and put flood protection in place.

Severe flood warning

Severe flooding. Danger to life. Stay in a safe place with a means of escape, and follow the advice of the emergency services. Call 999 if you are in immediate danger.
