River levels at Pillings Lock Gauge have peaked and are falling but still pose a flood risk. Areas most at risk are Betty Hensers Lane, Sileby Road, Mill Lane, Loughborough Road and Syston Road. Mountsorrel Lock and riverside properties and mills are also at risk. Light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. River levels at Pillings Lock Gauge will remain high until 02/03/26. This message will be updated by 08:00 on 02 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
