A Flood Warning was issued for A361 East Lyng to Burrowbridge in Somerset between 25th and 26th February 2026. Affected watercourses included the River Tone, River Parrett.
During this event, FloodRadar monitoring gauges recorded notable rises. The River Parrett at West Sedgemoor Pumping Station rose 5.05m, peaking at 7.55m, while the River Parrett at Dunball Tidal climbed 3.93m.

This Flood Warning remains in place due to rain forecast this evening and overnight into Friday. The River Tone level at Currymoor pumping station is 7.14m and is continuing to fall. Water will enter Currymoor via Hookbridge spillway whilst above 7.45m. The drain level at Currymoor pumping station is 6.76m and falling. Cutts Road and New Road remain closed.
