Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads around the tributaries to the River Erewash near the border of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, including Golden Brook and Stream, Boundary Brook, Nut Brook, Bailey Brook, Beauvale Brook and Nether Green Brook. Rainfall is forecast over the next 48 hours. River levels at Trowell Gauge may rise rapidly due to the nature of the catchment. Levels will remain high until tomorrow morning 03/05/26.
