High tides, strong winds and large waves this evening may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible 2 hours either side of high tide on Tuesday evening. Areas particularly at risk include Lynmouth, Combe Martin, Hele, Ilfracombe, Lee, Instow, Appledore, Westward Ho!, Clovelly, Bideford and Barnstaple. The high tide at Ilfracombe on Tuesday evening is at 20:30, times of high water will vary along the coast. Forecast total high tide level is 5.09mAOD, which is 0.47 metres above tide table level. Force 5 south-easterly winds and offshore wave heights of over 1.2m are forecast over the high tide.
