Flooding is expected from 5:00am to 7:30am on 13/09/2026 

Locations most affected will be Properties from Marine Drive, along South Promenade, Hornsea Burton Road and along Stream Dike and Foss Beck

Flooding is possible from 08:00PM to 10:00PM on 12/09.

Areas most at risk include the tidal River Avon from Sea Mills to Conham in Bristol and between the Avonmouth Bridge and Shirehampton Park including Pill and Shirehampton. The detailed tidal forecast for those who use it is for a peak level at Avonmouth Portbury. The first forecast high water of 7.46 mAODN is at 9:00PM 12/09, which is 0.12 m above tide tables, with Westerly force 5 winds. (mAODN is height above average sea level.)

Flooding is possible from 06:00am to 10:00am on Sunday 13 September 2026. 

Areas most at risk are around Hunstanton seafront. Flood gates in the area will be closed by the Local Authority which will make access difficult. The detailed forecast is for a peak level at King's Lynn of 4.67mAODN at 08:15am on 13 September, Wind Force 3, Westerly. The current series of high spring tides has now reached its peak and will fall away over the next few days.

The location most likely to be affected is Newcastle Quayside, particularly the area around the Swing Bridge.

The following tide, Saturday night, is also forecast to exceed the Flood Alert threshold.

Flooding is possible Around high tide 

We are entering a sequence of Spring tides that may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible around 06:45 on Friday 11th September. Flooding is forecast to affect locations at Porlock Bay, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the coastline between Gore Point and Hurlstone Point including Porlock Weir. The first high tide is at 06:45 on Friday with a peak height of 6.12m and a F4 north westerly wind. The second high tide is at 19:00 on Friday with a peak height of 6.37m and a F4 westerly wind
