River levels remain high following recent rainfall. Flooding is possible on the 1st March 2026. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. Our forecasts indicate that flooding to properties isn't likely and therefore flood warnings are not expected to be issued. We are closely monitoring the situation.  Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Avoid low lying roads, near rivers which may be flooded. This message will be updated by 5pm on 2 March 2026 or as the situation changes.

Where this comes from. England’s current warnings come from the Environment Agency; Scotland’s come from SEPA Floodline. We check each every 15 minutes. Contains SEPA data © Scottish Environment Protection Agency and database right 2026. Used with permission. The history since 2006 covers Environment Agency warnings in England only. Welsh warnings come from Natural Resources Wales, checked every 15 minutes. Contains Natural Resources Wales information © Natural Resources Wales and Database Right. All rights Reserved. The history is the Environment Agency’s record of every warning raised since 2006, which it publishes each quarter, joined to the warnings we have recorded live since. Each count is one warning or alert raised for one area; a warning that was later updated counts once. When a warning is removed that is not counted as a new warning. An area with no warnings on record can still flood.
