A Flood Warning was issued for South Devon coast at Beesands, Torcross, Slapton and Dawlish in Devon, Torbay on 29th April 2026. Affected watercourses included the English Channel, South Devon Coast.

High tides, strong winds and large waves are expected to cause flooding tomorrow morning. Flooding is expected 3 hours either side of high tide on Thursday morning. High tides of 1.9 mAOD at Teignmouth will be at 06:37AM on Thursday. Strong Easterly Force 6 winds and offshore wave heights up to 2.6m are forecast. Recent storms have increased the risk of wave overtopping at Torcross. Hazardous conditions are forecast along Torcross seafront, with waves containing debris.
