High river levels are causing flooding today. Flooding is expected on 01 March 2026 . River levels are falling slowly but still remain very high at the Castle Farm gauge. Therefore the risk of flooding remains. Flooding may affect properties and roads in the Blyth End area including properties off the Blythe Road area. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . Stay away from floodwater - it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers, sewage and chemicals . Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
