High groundwater levels are expected to cause flooding. Groundwater levels in Salisbury Plain remain high. Areas that could be affected include: Hindon. The groundwater level at the Terraces borehole remains high at 117.326m. Levels are starting to plateau but further rainfall is forecast towards the end of this week, may keep levels high. We are closely monitoring the situation. If you have a pump, make sure it is working and switched on. Think about alternative power sources in case of power cuts.
