Groundwater levels in Salisbury Plain are beginning to plateau but remain high. Areas that could be affected include: Kingston Deverill, Monkton Deverill, Hill Deverill, Longbridge Deverill, Crockerton, Norton Bavant, Heytesbury, Corton, Upton Lovell, Boyton, Sherrington, Stockton and Bapton. The groundwater level at the Tilshead MOD borehole is at 108.59m. We have had a few days of drier weather, but further rainfall is forecast starting tomorrow, Thursday 26 February, which may cause levels to rise once again into the weekend.
