High groundwater levels are causing flooding. Groundwater levels in the Salisbury Plain area are beginning to fall but remain high. Areas that could be affected include: Tilshead, Orcheston, Shrewton, Berwick St James and Stapleford. The Groundwater level at Tilshead was 96.92 metres and property flooding is possible when it goes above 96.50 metres. The forecast is for showers later this week which may cause some response in groundwater fed rivers.
