High groundwater levels are expected to cause flooding. Groundwater levels in Salisbury Plain are beginning to fall but remain high. Areas that could be affected include: Tilshead, Orcheston, Shrewton and Berwick St James. The groundwater level at the Tilshead borehole is at 99.01m, and is expected to slowly fall. The forecast remains unsettled, with some moderate showers forecast in the coming days which may cause levels to rise once again into the weekend.
