During this event, FloodRadar monitoring gauges recorded notable rises. The Groundwater Level at Windwhistle rose 1.95m, peaking at 75.54m, while the Groundwater Level at The Terraces Fonthill climbed 1.13m.

High groundwater levels are expected to cause flooding. Groundwater levels in Salisbury Plain are beginning to plateau but remain high. Areas that could be affected include: Tilshead, Orcheston, Shrewton and Berwick St James. The groundwater level at the Tilshead borehole is at 99.64m, and is expected to remain high. We have had a few days of drier weather, but further rainfall is forecast starting tomorrow, Thursday 26 February, which may cause levels to rise once again into the weekend.
