Groundwater levels in Cranborne Chase are beginning to plateau but remain high. Areas that could be affected include: Pimperne Brook at Pimperne. The groundwater level at Iwerne Hill Farm borehole is 115.012m, further rainfall is expected from Thursday, which may cause levels to rise again over the weekend. Flooding of roads and some properties, especially basements is expected. Residents should continue to keep any property resilience measures such as pumps, flood barriers and air brick covers deployed.
