During this event, FloodRadar monitoring gauges recorded notable rises. The River Tamar at Bridge Rule rose 1.77m, peaking at 2.28m, while the River Tamar at Tamarstone Bridge climbed 1.42m.

High river levels today and overnight may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 28th February 2026 and 29th February 2026. River levels have risen following recent rainfall and are expected to remain high throughout the day and overnight with further showers forecast. The area of most concern on the Upper Tamar is around Bridgerule, however no properties are expected to flood. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers.
