River levels are high at the Lilbourne gauge after overnight rain. Flooding is possible from the evening today 13 March 2026. We expect rivers to remain high into Friday afternoon. Flooding may affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the River Avon between Stanford and Rugby, River Swift between Cosford and Rugby and Clay Coton Brook between Yelvertoft and Lilbourne. We are closely monitoring the situation . Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
