During this event, FloodRadar monitoring gauges recorded notable rises. The River Avon at Rugby rose 1.77m, peaking at 2.57m, while the River Soar at Sharnford climbed 1.41m.

River levels continue to decrease at Lilbourne and whilst the level is decreasing the risk of flooding continues and will remain into Wednesday. Flooding may affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the River Avon between Stanford and Rugby, River Swift between Cosford and Rugby and Clay Coton Brook between Yelvertoft and Lilbourne. We continue to closely monitor the situation. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
