Tide locking where high tides restrict normal drainage of the river out to sea, overnight may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible between 20:30-22:30 tonight, 30.03.2026. We expect to see high water levels at Beccles Quay. River levels will remain high over the next couple of days due to tide locking, which is where tides restrict normal drainage of the river out to the sea. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels.
