High river levels today may lead to flooding. Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including the Morrisons parks at Glenfield and Anstey. Low-lying land and farmlands in the Glenfield, Anstey, Sileby, Thurcaston, Rothley, Newtown Linford, Cropston, Swithland and Quorn areas are also at risk. River levels at the Glenfield gauge have peaked and are falling. Levels will remain high until this afternoon, 02/03/2026. We are closely monitoring the situation.
