Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including communities near to the River Trent, and cellars of low-lying properties at Cavendish Bridge. No further rainfall is forecast. River levels at Shardlow Gauge are falling, but still pose a flood risk. We are closely monitoring the situation . Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
