During this event, FloodRadar monitoring gauges recorded notable rises. The River Ure at Ripon Ure Bank rose 2.47m, peaking at 2.75m, while the River Ure at Aldwark Bridge climbed 2.45m.

High river levels may lead to flooding today. Flooding is possible on 14 March 2026, however, river levels have now peaked and are beginning to fall. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers and around the Boroughbridge camping and caravanning site. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 9:00PM on 14 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
