Rising river levels this evening may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 12 April 2026 . Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including Slash Lane at Sileby and the Mountsorrel to Sileby road. Rainfall is forecast over the next 6 hours. River levels at Pillings Lock Gauge will begin rising at 19:00 on 12/04/26. We are closely monitoring the situation . Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
