Flood Alert: Lower River Ancholme - 13th March 2026

A Flood Alert was issued for Lower River Ancholme in Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire on 13th March 2026. Affected watercourses included the River Ancholme.

During this event, FloodRadar monitoring gauges recorded notable rises. The River Eau at Scotter rose 1.32m, peaking at 1.46m, while the River Ancholme at Brigg climbed 1.17m.

High river levels this morning may lead to flooding.  Flooding is possible from the morning of 13 March 2026 .  This means that the river levels have risen in the Lower Ancholme catchment, leading to flooding of low-lying land and roads close to the river.
