During this event, FloodRadar monitoring gauges recorded notable rises. The Groundwater Level at Bank Barrow rose 5.03m, peaking at 56.68m, while the River Frome at Maiden Newton climbed 0.36m.

This is a Flood Alert update. River levels are dropping but remain high at Stinsford river gauge as a result of the recent rainfall and the high groundwater. Flooding could still affect locations near the Lower Dorset Frome and the tributaries between Dorchester and Wareham, with low lying land and roads near rivers expected to be most affected. No further rainfall is forecast over the next few days. We will continue to monitor the situation.
