A Flood Alert was issued for Humber tributaries in Lincolnshire, North East Lincolnshire, North Lincolnshire between 13th and 14th March 2026. Affected watercourses included the Butts Drain, Barrow Beck, East Halton Beck, Stallingborough North, Old Fleet Drain, Buck Beck.
During this event, FloodRadar monitoring gauges recorded notable rises. The Burstwick Drain at Hedon Westlands Drain rose 1.16m, peaking at 1.31m, while the Thorngumbald Drain at Thorngumbald Pumping Station climbed 0.67m.

River levels remain high following recent rainfall. Flooding is possible on the 14 March 2026. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. Our forecasts indicate that flooding to properties isn't likely and therefore flood warnings are not expected to be issued. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. Avoid low lying roads, near rivers which may be flooded.
