Groundwater levels in the villages surrounding Andover are high but falling very slowly. Cellar flooding is expected to be ongoing in Appleshaw, Hatherden and possibly Penton Grafton. Sewerage system impacts are expected be occurring in Appleshaw and Penton Mewsey. In Penton Grafton, the main road is flooded. Only very small amounts of rain are forecast from Wednesday 25/03/2026 to Sunday 29/03/2026. Groundwater levels are expected to continue slowly falling this week.
