A Flood Alert was issued for Groundwater flooding in villages surrounding Andover in Hampshire, Wiltshire on 4th March 2026. Affected watercourses included the Groundwater.

High groundwater levels may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible , though little rain (14mm) has fallen in the last week. Cellar flooding is expected to be occurring in Appleshaw, Hatherden and possibly Penton Grafton. Sewerage system impacts are ongoing in Appleshaw and Penton Mewsey. The main road into Penton Grafton is flooded, and water is emerging into Deacon and Down Road, Kimpton. From Wednesday 04/03/2026 to Sunday 08/03/2026, mostly dry weather is forecast.
