A Flood Alert was issued for Groundwater flooding in villages surrounding Andover in Hampshire, Wiltshire on 25th February 2026. Affected watercourses included the Groundwater.

High groundwater levels may lead to flooding.  Flooding is possible . Mostly light rain (19mm) has fallen in the last week.  Cellar flooding is expected to be occurring in Appleshaw and Hatherden. Flooding is affecting the sewer network at Penton Mewsey and the main road at Penton Grafton. From Saturday 28/02/2026, cellar flooding in Penton Grafton will occur, as well as sewerage system issues in Appleshaw. Groundwater will begin to emerge into Deacon and Down Road, Kimpton. From Thursday 26/02/2026 to Sunday 01/03/2026, further rain (between 15 and 35mm) is forecast in Hampshire. Groundwater
