High groundwater levels may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible. Groundwater levels have started falling very slolwy at our Longacre borehole in the Lambourne Valley. We expect levels to remain high over the next few weeks and levels will remain sensitive to further sustained rainfall. Due to the nature of groundwater flooding, this situation could continue for several weeks or longer.
