During this event, FloodRadar monitoring gauges recorded notable rises. The River Lambourn at Eastbury Flood Control Structure rose 1.26m, peaking at 1.19m, while the Groundwater Level at Draycot Foliat climbed 0.37m.

Continued high groundwater levels may lead to flooding. Flooding of low-lying areas and roads is possible. Groundwater levels are high but slowly falling at our Northfield Farm borehole in the Great Shefford area. Groundwater levels are expected to continue slowly falling over the coming weeks in response to a period of more settled weather. Due to the nature of groundwater flooding, this situation could continue for several weeks or longer. We are closely monitoring rainfall and groundwater levels.
