A Flood Alert was issued for Groundwater flooding in Littleton, Headbourne, Kings and Martyr Worthy, Easton and Chilland in Hampshire on 2nd March 2026. Affected watercourses included the Groundwater.
During this event, FloodRadar monitoring gauges recorded notable rises. The Groundwater Level at Clarendon rose 0.44m, peaking at 73.80m, while the Groundwater Level at Queen Manor Farm climbed 0.15m.

Groundwater levels at the borehole in Harestock are high but slowly falling. In the last week, the level has fallen by 70cm. Flooding is affecting Springvale Road in Kings Worthy. In Martyr Worthy, Chilland and Easton drainage ditches and culverts will become full and less effective as natural flow paths are restricted. Some properties may be affected as water seeps up through floors. Footpaths near the river will also be inaccessible. From Monday 02/03/2026 to Friday 06/03/2026, mostly dry weather is forecast.
