Groundwater levels in Kings Somborne and Little Somborne are high but slowly falling. At the borehole in Kings Somborne, the level peaked on Thursday 19/02/2026 and has since fallen by 12cm. Flooding is expected to be affecting cellars in a small number of properties along Winchester Road, central Kings Somborne and in Little Somborne. Mostly dry weather is forecast from Tuesday 03/03/2026 to Saturday 07/03/2026. Groundwater levels in the villages will continue to slowly fall. We are closely monitoring the situation.
