High groundwater levels may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible , as a lot of rain (46mm) has fallen in the last week. Groundwater levels in Hambledon are now relatively stable. Currently, widespread cellar flooding is expected. Groundwater is infiltrating into sewers and causing issues with overflowing manholes. Fareham Road is closed, and water is flowing onto the road on the north side of East Street. From Friday 20/02/2026 to Monday 23/02/2026, small amounts of rain are forecast. Groundwater levels will remain very high for the next week, and close to the level at which road flooding
