Only showers, or small amounts of rain are forecast over the next 5 days to Saturday 21/03/2026. Groundwater at at both Chilgrove and East Dean boreholes is expected to continue to fall. It is probable that groundwater will continue to fall throughout March, although groundwater groundwater flood impacts may not reduce until April. If there is persistent, or exceptional rainfall in late March, groundwater flood impacts may remain for longer. Take care on roads that flood (Chilgrove, West Dean, Singleton, East Dean).
