Environment Agency advice issued
High tides are expected to cause flooding tomorrow morning. Flooding is expected from 03:45hrs to 07:00hrs on 26/10/2026. This is due to high tides, strong winds and large waves. Flooding at the coast and overtopping of waves is possible in the coming days due to strong winds and high astronomical tides. Locations affected will be coastal roads, footpaths and foreshore areas. We are closely monitoring the situation. Avoid coastal roads, footpaths and carparks, which may be flooded. Stay away from promenades where wave and spray overtopping is possible.
