During this event, FloodRadar monitoring gauges recorded notable rises. The River Sence at South Wigston rose 2.83m, peaking at 2.77m, while the Rothley Brook at Glenfield climbed 2.82m.

High river levels today may lead to flooding. Flooding is possible on 01 March 2026. Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including Littlethorpe, Braunstone, Aylestone, Abbey Park, Birstall and Wanlip, and Braunstone Lane East. River levels at Littlethorpe Gauge are falling, but still pose a flood risk. Levels will remain high until 01/03/26. We are closely monitoring the situation.
