River levels remain high today with light rain meaning the risk of flooding remains. Flooding is possible on 28 February 2026 and into Sunday 1 March. Flooding may affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the River Dove between Rocester and Clay Mills. We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . Stay away from floodwater - it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers, sewage and chemicals . Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
