Groundwater levels in Finchdean, Dean Lane End and Rowlands Castle are high but slowly falling. In the last week, the level at the borehole in Finchdean has fallen by 14cm. Flooding is expected to be affecting a small number of cellars. Residual flooding may continue to affect roads during this week. Dry weather is forecast from Monday 16/03/2026 to Friday 20/03/2026. Groundwater levels are expected to continue slowly falling throughout this week. If the weather forecast is favourable next week, then this Flood Alert could be removed.
