    Groundwater levels in Hursley are high but slowly falling. At the borehole in Hursley, the level has fallen by 42cm in the last week. Widespread cellar flooding and sewerage system issues are expected to be ongoing in the village. Only small amounts of rain are forecast from Monday 30/03/2026 to Friday 03/04/2026. Groundwater levels will continue to fall slowly during the next week. If the weather forecast continues to be favourable next week, this Flood Alert may be removed. We are closely monitoring the situation. Residents are advised to ensure that pumps are working where they have been installed. This message will be updated by 18:00 on 07/04/2026.

    Groundwater levels in Hursley are high but slowly falling. The level at the borehole in Hursley has fallen by 30cm in the last week. Widespread cellar flooding and sewerage system issues are expected to be ongoing in the village. Only very small amounts of rain are forecast from Monday 23/03/2026 to Friday 27/03/2026. Groundwater levels will continue to slowly fall but flooding impacts will affect Hursley into mid-April. We are closely monitoring the situation. Widespread cellar flooding and sewerage system impacts are expected to be ongoing. Dry weather is forecast from Monday 16/03/2026 to Friday 20/03/2026. Groundwater levels will continue slowly falling over the next week. Flooding impacts will continue to affect Hursley throughout March and into April. We are closely monitoring the situation.     Groundwater levels in Hursley are high but relatively stable. Widespread cellar flooding and sewerage system impacts are expected to be ongoing. Groundwater is currently close to the level that we expect isolated properties could experience internal ground floor flooding. Only a small amount of rain (between 10 and 20mm) is forecast to affect Hampshire between Monday 09/03/2026 and Friday 13/03/2026. Over the weekend and into next week, further unsettled weather is possible.     High groundwater levels may lead to flooding. 
    Flooding is possible , as a lot of rain (31mm) has fallen in the last week. 
    Widespread cellar flooding and sewerage system impacts are expected to be ongoing. Groundwater levels are now stable around the level where internal ground floor flooding is expected to begin affecting a small number of properties. From Monday 23/02/2026 to Wednesday 25/02/2026, dry weather is expected. Further rain (between 15 and 25mm) is forecast in Hampshire from Thursday 26/02/2026 into Friday 27/02/2026. If heavy rain affects Hursley, groundwater levels will rise again, and ongoing flooding impacts will increase.

The history is the Environment Agency’s record of every warning raised since 2006, which it publishes each quarter, joined to the warnings we have recorded live since. Each count is one warning or alert raised for one area; a warning that was later updated counts once. When a warning is removed that is not counted as a new warning. An area with no warnings on record can still flood.
